Review:

The game is based on a kind of task-oriented guide for you to develop your empire. There are 3 kinds of missions, Empire Missions ask you to build/upgrade/research your empire; Daily Missions needn't you to complete, just click the button to get some resource and then wait for refreshing the mission; Alliance Missions are more interesting than other two, since the game is real-time online, we can choose to invite other players to be an alliance to against other empires, and the alliance missions will be related to your alliance.

One other thing to mention is when you play the game, you will find everything in it requires a mass of resource to complete. There are 5 kinds of resource, Oil, Food, Lumber, Metal, Coin. And at the beginning, you can only complete missions to get them. But when your troops are powerful enough, you can get resource trough capturing ruins and invading other empires. Besides, the game would give you some coins each day. Watching in-game ads can also get some resource and of course, you can buy resource via in-game purchase. But the most interesting way is to play slot machine in Casino to win resource randomly.

After bustling mission time, let's take a look at Empire Z pictures. The pictures are painted in cooler colors, look quite pretty at the first glance. The buildings, plants and even the walking persons are extremely vivid and true to life. The vivid pictures with dismal background voices bring a feeling of doomsday to me.

If you regarded Empire Z as a simply RTS game, you are wrong. The most interesting place in the game is to interact with the worldwide players. Click “World” button in the corner, you will enter a huge map and see a mass of other players’ empires in the map. Perhaps you will think it is not different with Boom Beach. But don’t forget, in Empire Z, you can not only invade other players' bases, but also organize the alliance with them. And what’s more, you needn’t use anything to unlock new zone in the map.

Except attacking other empires and capturing various oil fields and mines, you can also move your empire to the place you thought is safe. Of course, the game also inherited the essence gameplay of RTS. Trough battles, you get EXP to upgrade your hero's level and ability and get resource to develop new technique, weapons and upgrade the equipment. Speaking of battle, you should know that you can do air attack before the battle started in the map, and then enter the battlefield.

With all of that said, the quality of Empire Z is no less than mainstream RTS games, like Boom Beach and Clash of Clans. And the feature of organizing alliances with online players is quite special. If you are the fan of RTS or Zombie themed works, you really need to try.
